Up for auction is a Solex PIC 3 carburetor for Volkswagen beetle engine. I cleaned this carb including all of the jets. I did not replace any of the gaskets, they did not have any rips or tears. The accelerator pump was tested and it is working good. You may want to put put a kit it this carb or try to use it as is. Feel free to email me with any questions that you may have.

Ford's Mulally gets warm reception at CES
Fri, 07 Jan 2011Ford CEO Alan Mulally introduced the Focus electric at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show on Friday in a presentation that was short on details about the car and long on cures for range anxiety. That's partly because Ford is saving details about the car for next week' Detroit auto show, and partly because range anxiety figures to be a major reason for all but the most committed customers to avoid electric vehicles like the Ford Focus electric. Mulally managed to avoid using the term, but said Ford is confronting range anxiety head-on.
Engineers 'most likely' to crash

Based on accident figures per profession, the survey showed that persons classing themselves as 'administrators' were the safest drivers, followed by painters and farmers. Builders were the sixth-safest on the list compiled by insurance company 1st Central, with bakers eighth.
