College Exhibition: Coventry University students prepare for the MA Design Degree Show
Fri, 10 Sep 2004MA students from the Coventry University Automotive Design course are preparing for their annual degree exhibition. This year's show, entitled 'Move' will present the work of 21 students in the new Coventry Transport Museum, Hales St, in the centre of the city. The projects on show cover the full spectrum of vehicle concepts, with the show zoned into four themes: 'Move-Art', 'Move-Identity', 'Move-Current' and 'Move-Extreme'.
Holt Ware becomes Design Director at GM-PATAC
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Holt Ware has been appointed to design director at GM's Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) joint venture in Shanghai, China. He replaces Friedhelm Engler who has since relocated to Germany to lead the Advanced Design Studio, a position vacated by Anthony Lo earlier this year. Ware's new role at GM-PATAC puts him in charge of designers and modelers working in China's leading automotive engineering and design facility.
Bentley promises '90% hybrid range by 2018'

Speaking at the debut of the Mulsanne Hybrid Concept at the Beijing motor show, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber announced that a plug-in hybrid option was ‘the right choice for the future of Bentley’. He also confirmed that the first production-spec Bentley with a part-electric powertrain will be the marque's controversial new SUV.
