Daimler-Renault alliance approved, report says
Tue, 06 Apr 2010An international alliance between Daimler and Renault has been approved by the companies' boards and is set to be announced on Wednesday, Bloomberg is reporting. The pact would allow the German and French automakers to collaborate on a range of products, including small cars, commercial vehicles and engines. AutoWeek first reported on the alliance last week.
Games Galore: Video games are the one growth industry in the car business
Wed, 03 Jun 2009If the movie industry was the entertainment king of the 20th century, the video-gaming industry is where disposable income is headed for the 21st century. Nowhere was this more apparent than the Electronic Entertainment Expo--E3 for short--going on right now in Los Angeles. True, the vast majority of the games at E3 involved vixens and/or steroid-shot musclemen shooting and/or chainsawing bad guys and/or zombies.
BMW 0 Series revealed? +video
Sat, 26 Jun 2010Is this the BMW 0 Series? If BMW are going to go further downmarket in their quest for more sales – which we know they are with their plans for front wheel drive BMWs – then short of a sub-brand marque (entirely possible some will wear the Isetta or i-setta badge) then the only number we have to play with is a big, fat 0. It seems daft to give a BMW a leading 0 and its own series, but it certainly looks to be under consideration.
