Condition:Used

This is a short block that was part of a running engine coming out of a wreaked 1971 164, prior owner was Volvo mechanic and took good car of car, many items restored.

This a B30A engine.

head etc is gone, what I have now is the short block as per pictures,

Engine had very little carbon  build up, almost no ridge at top of cylinder bore. It may have been rebuilt at some time, but it is standard bore, pistons show a code D also 71/9,

Prior to pulling the engine the car would run and drive, engine runs well, starts well, does not show any smoke, quite idle. I do have a recording of this engine running on my son's phone if you wish to hear it.

Showing local pick up at this time, if needs shipped it will have to go truck, lets talk.  It weighs a lot, you would need forklift or dock on your end to make shipment cost reasonable.

Geely Englon TXN (w/ Gallery)

Tue, 13 Apr 2010

Geely is poised to show 39 new vehicles at the forthcoming Auto China 2010 motor show in Beijing, among them will be this new TXN taxi. While most of the new cars on show won't be built around entirely new sheet metal - some will feature new powertrains, for example - the Englon TXN is indeed all-new. Sitting in Geely's Englon range, a sub-brand initially created for the taxicab, the TXN is intended as a replacement for the aging TX4 built by British automaker LTI (as well as at Geely's Shanghai Maples factory).

GM says natural-gas Chevrolet Impala on the way

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

General Motors said it will sell a version of the Chevrolet Impala sedan with the ability to switch between gasoline and natural gas, part of the automaker's plan for taking advantage of a U.S. drilling boom that has made natural gas a more viable fuel for cars. The dual-fuel Impala, to be announced today by CEO Dan Akerson at a conference here, will have one engine and two fuel tanks -- one for gasoline and one for compressed natural gas.

Rolls-Royce teases Wraith before Geneva motor show

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

Rolls-Royce has revealed the first actual photo of the upcoming Wraith coupe, which will debut at the Geneva motor show in March. The first teaser image was just smoke in the shape of the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, but this photo shows the actual shape of the car. Last week we reported that the big coupe will most likely carry a 6.0-liter V12 engine that should create about 600 hp, and that the car will be about 7 inches shorter than the four-door Ghost.
