Rare Volvo 242GT grill ("in-grill" fog lights are offered at another auction). This grill was removed from a 1979 242GT. It should fit other 2-series cars from the same single-round-headllight era. No returns, so please be sure this part will fit your car before bidding. Grill is being sold as-is. While all of the mounting tabs are still present and accounted for, exposure to the sun and other elements has taken its toll. Paint is almost gone, plastic is now pretty fragile. Please see pictures showing condition. I tried to point out any/all cracks--all of them should be repairable, and most will not show once grill is installed on the car. We couldn’t conceive why a struggling Italian design firm like Bertone would take a punt on designing a new Jaguar, so we assumed that Jaguar must have quietly commissioned it. Otherwise Bertone would have to be a bit barking to try and usurp Jaguar’s design team; a design team with as sure a touch as any in the industry.

We’ve know that a convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C – the 12C Spider – has been on the way for some time, but now it’s almost here. We thought McLaren would just come out and introduce the 12C Spider, but they can’t resist teasing, although we wonder if McLaren might be trying to take some of the gloss off the UK debut of the Ferrari 458 Spider at Goodwood this weekend by revealing the 12C Spider before the end of the Goodwood weekend?.
