Fits into the tight spots and grabs the plastic filter housing cap. Use with a 3/8 drive ratchet or breaker bar and extension. New, not used, made of heavy steel.
Be careful not to overtighten your plastic housing. I think the required torque is only 18 inch lbs.
For removing the plastic housing on cartridge-type oil filters found on late model volvos. I have listed some of the models below:
- V40 2000-2004
- S40 2000-2004
- S60 2001-2008
- C70 1999-2004
- S70 2000
- V70 1999-2007
- S80 1999-2004 and 2007-2008 v8
- XC90 (did not fit 2009 xc90 in line 6 with a 3.2 liter. It was too small) I show all 2003-2009 the same, so measure yours.

Volkswagen to buy 42 percent of Porsche, full merger planned

VW will pay $4.7 billion for its initial stake in Porsche.
