Early safety helmet and racing memorabilia good appearance needs tlc on inner padding
Brand:Unknown Bell, Mchal,

From the estate of a long-time SCCA member and rally driver from Southern California are these great pieces of her vintage racing days. Family has asked that I list these together and not separately.  See very bottom of this ad for more info on her.

Found with four of her many rallye dash plaques, her rare, 1960 SCCA membership directory with many famous names listed and a cloth runner featuring vintage sports cars which measures 27x15" of which has minor stains.  Her Austin Healy badge is a genuine early one.

The helmet is unnamed but the initials NOP are stamped into the inner shell of the helmet.  The leather neck and ear protection is still soft and supple.  Helmet features leather neck and ear protection.  Uses a "D" ring style strap. Outer shell in remarkably good condition showing very minimal usage and no paint loss.  Visor is in good shape as well.  I would guess the size to be medium to large.

Great piece of Vintage SCCA USAC or other historic racing memorabilia the helmet features leather neck and ear protection.  Uses a "D" ring style strap. Outer shell in remarkably good condition showing very minimal scrapes and no paint loss.

The inner shell uses a criss-crossed cloth web as seen.  There was a piece of dried foam that fell out of the inner shell and I believe the manufacturer and size were affixed to the crumbled padding which the family discarded.

Great piece to set on your seat or the roof of your car at a weekend show or for your display in your garage paddock or man cave.  Would look great with a pair of old racing pants and jacket or set on the seat of your 1956 MGA 1960 Austin Healy Sprite, MG Midget, 1961 TR3, 1958 Jaguar,  Alfa Romeo Veloce

Examine the pictures and ask questions and of course I ship to Japan.  It is up to you the bidder/buyer to determine if this item is what you want and it is up to you the bidder/buyer to do your investigation, survey work about the item before bidding or buying so as not to be disappointed and that your experience with me may be a pleasant one like many of those on my buyers list.

The driver first started in her early 20's as a student at UCLA and continued for many years when she later became a professor at Stanford last driving a 1963 Jaguar.

Vauxhall Adam: Prices & on sale at Paris 2012

Tue, 14 Aug 2012

The new Vauxhall Adam (and its European sibling, the Opel Adam) have their debut at the Paris Motor Show when the order book opens. We’re still not entirely convinced that the Vauxhall Adam has enough individuality to be a star in the marketplace, but it looks a decent offering nonetheless. Its styling is distinctly generic – it looks like a mish-mash of ideas from successful competitors – but Vauxhall is promising much for the Adam with extreme levels of customisation and lots of high-end toys, even if many will be cost options.

Hyundai ix35: Prices and specs revealed en France

Sat, 20 Feb 2010

The Hyundai ix35 - the French get prices and specs before the UK We’ve been expecting Hyundai in the UK to release prices and specs for the new Hyundai ix35 for a few weeks now. We had a fair bit of information on the UK Hyundai ix35 back in September at Frankfurt, but for whatever reason we haven’t had price and model detail. So as Hyundai in Europe have got their act together and sent out details of what’s on offer in the ix35 range – and for how much – we thought that you might like a glimpse of what we’re likely to get.
