This is a brand new, in the box OEM VW fan control module. It will fix a 99.5-02 Jetta, Passat and Beetle. I bought this for my Jetta but found out my fuse was just blown. The part # 1J0919506K. This cost $150 new for an off brand at Autozone. This is a genuine VW part.
