HPA's cat-backs are CAD design optimized for flow and back pressure, then tested on a rolling road simulator. Each system is constructed with only the best materials. Stainless steel three inch mandrel bent tubing optimizes flow while the integrated mechanical bypass valve opening under WOT, reduces system back pressure. This is the HPA advantage. The sudden drop in back pressure under acceleration enables the turbo to spin more freely which in turn, reduces turbine EGT's. The lower exhaust manifold temps allow your ECU to maximize its ignition map. More ignition equals more power. Volvo teases new Concept ES ahead of 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Sat, 22 Feb 2014Volvo Volvo has released these mysterious teaser shots of its new Concept ES show car ahead of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Although largely covered in a dustsheet - annoyingly - we can still see the first details of the new car, which has the silhouette of a long shooting brake. It's also the first confirmation of the name of the car: Concept ES harks back to the 480 ES of the late 1980s, which gave Volvo a distinctive coupe with pop-up headlamps and an unusual rear end (see below).

Wed, 05 Feb 2014A 42-year-old Brit gave his dog away after the border collie-spaniel mix chewed the fiberglass fender of his Aston Martin DB9 Volante while he was away from home, the Daily Mail reports. Royston Grimstead, from Somerset, England, told the Mail he was already contemplating giving his dog, Luce, away because she didn't get along with his other dog. Then he came home to find $4,800 in damage to his Aston.
