Thisaccessory utilizes your car's existing speakers and is installed in the spare wheel well. Spare tire will need to be REMVOED before installing this subwoofer. Fastens to the trunk area with the factory spare tire fastener. A replacement part can be ordered if needed: 1K0-803-899-D. Dealer will need to acquire the Programming dongle DKS051419A. The dongle is required to flash the sound system with the vehicle-specific sound setups. The soundbox DSP default setting is Golf, GTI, and Golf R MK7 hatchback models.
