VW Vanagon Bus Type 2 Eberspacher BA/DA-6 BA-4 gas heater blower motor

I sell and service Eberspacher gasoline heaters.
This sale is for the blower motor for the Eberspacher BA-6 and DA-6 gas heaters, Diesel or gas.

The combustion motor pictured is a standard component in the BA-4 BA-6 and DA-6 auxilliary heater/heater booster systems.

These replacement motors have been tested, and have sat dormant for 15 years or more, so they have many years of use left.

This is what you will remove from your heater.
Next you will remove the old motor from the housing and replace it with the motor you have purchased from me(see picture)

So you will save these items from your old BA-6 blower:

The rubber cap, retainer clip, housing and impeller.

Remove the impeller using a Allen hex through the access hole.

The replacement motor will arrive in a BA-4 housing.
You will remove the motor from this housing and install it in your housing.

Before removing the motors from their housings, they are easier to remove after spraying between the motor and housing with penetrating fluid.

If you aren't confident to do this yourself, you can send your old motor to me and I will do this at no extra charge, you pay the round-trip shipping.

If your spark plug, fuel and coil have tested good, you will most likely need your blower serviced .
If the blower motor doesn't turn, it has a worn bearing and needs replacing.

After bench testing, it will be shipped to you

Eberspächer combustion blowers fit the BA-6 and DA-6 gasoline and Diesel heaters found in the '80-'91 Volkswagen Vanagon and '75-'79 Type 2 Bus.
