Fri, 11 Jun 2010The Mercedes SLS AMG - the UK Promo Video below Now that things are finally starting to Rock ‘n’ Roll for the new Mercedes SLS AMG – Mercedes actually started building it in January – we’re getting some UK-specific stuff, which makes a change from Auto Bild telling the world the SLS AMG is the best looking car in existence. VW 'to announce its WRC entry' at Rally Sardinia
Fri, 15 Apr 2011VW Polo R WRC (2011): Volkswagen enter the WRC High-level sources in an existing World Rally Championship team have told CAR that Volkswagen will formally announce its decision to enter the WRC at Rally Sardinia, which starts on 5 May 2011, somewhat stealing the thunder of Mini’s WRC debut. It’s believed that sister firm Skoda’s Fabia Intercontinental Rally Challenge car will be used as the first step in development. This car currently runs to the 2.0-litre naturally aspirated S2000 rules, so one of the first steps will be to switch to a 1.6-litre turbo.
Infiniti G to get Mercedes engine

Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co., said the G will use a Mercedes inline four-cylinder from Daimler to improve fuel economy and cut emissions. He didn’t say when the engine would reach Infiniti production lines or indicate the extent to which it will replace Japanese-made four-cylinder and V6 engines used in the G sedan and coupe.
