SPECIFICATIONS The ultimate backup for serious adventure touring. The XT17 is a powerful portable winch that is well-suited for light ATV or motorcycle recovery, pulling up to 1,700 pounds. It is easy to carry because of an aluminum construction and easy to use, light-weight synthetic rope, it weighs in at only 8.5 lbs., this design will have you taking it everywhere. The rigging system allows mounting of winch to any 12V battery-equipped vehicle or stable structure, with no application-specific hardware needed. It features 1,700 lbs. of pulling capacity, and 40 feet of easy-to-handle synthetic rope. Designed with the patented disc brake for reliable stopping power and a sealed motor and contactor provides protection from extreme weather conditions. The clutch control provides rope free-spool capability. Includes a hand-held corded remote, rigging strap and wiring with quick-connect plugs. It is easily transferable between vehicles. I think we’d prefer it if we were something we’re not sure of like the name, for example. So far we’ve had Jota and LP700-4 and this weekend we had Lamborghini Aventador, and we’ll probably get more before the Murci’s replacement arrives at Geneva 2011.

Honda are claiming to cover allk the bases with the Vezel, stating it offers “the dynamic qualities of an SUV, the elegance of a coupé and the functionality of an MPV”. A car for every man (and woman), no less.
