Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster at a motor event in the US We first got details on the new Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster back in February, and Lamborghini subsequently issued a set of pictures to show it was real. But it was a bit of a surprise to see a real one turn up at a Lamborghini event in the US. Sporting the same 650bhp as the Lamborghini Reventon, the LP650-4 Roadster is the last of the line of open-topped Murcielagos (apart from the Reventon Roadster – which as there will only be 9 doesn’t really count), and is the successor to the LP640 Roadster.

Having been batted about regarding their fuel-economy claims, Hyundai has decided to use their Super Bowl ad dollars to highlight the raw power of the Sonata Turbo and the Genesis R-Spec sedan. We find the above Sonata ad a whimsical piffle, featuring a couple utilizing their family sedan's turbocharged 2.0L four to handily pass obnoxious/dangerous motorists. PSA Peugeot Citroen has revealed it is to close one factory, cut job numbers elsewhere and shed a total of 8,000 jobs as demand for its cars dwindles. When we reported last year that Peugeot Citroen were planning to idle their plant in Trnava, Western Slovakia we said that this was just the tip of the iceberg for Peugeot Citroen, and that they would have to take far more drastic action if they were to survive.
