The WERKZ Racing Hood
Spacers are great for Honda's with an engine swap where your new engine
now rubs the underside of the hood. You can easily eliminate this problem
with the new WERKZ Racing Billet Aluminum Hood Risers/Spacer Kit. The
WERKZ hood riser kits are CNC machined from aircraft grade 6061 billet
aluminum, and are available in 8 different colors: black, blue, red, gun metal,
green, orange, purple and Neo chrome. The WERKZ kit includes two hood riser,
and four zinc plated hex bolts. The WERKZ hood riser kit will raise your hood
3/4".
These spacer kits are also great for turbocharged cars or any high performance
car to simply be able to vent under hood
heat and get cool fresh air moving over the engine. Cool air means more

Car Design News Editor Eric Gallina presented the winning design teams at Aston Martin and General Motors for the most publicly acclaimed production and concept car designs of 2009, as voted by Car Design News readers in an online poll. The Best Production Car Design accolade was awarded to Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman for the beautiful Rapide sedan unveiled in full glory at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show in September.
There will NOT be a ‘Super’ LaFerrari after all
Tue, 07 May 2013Ferrari has been on the phone this morning to explain that the man from Autocar who spoke to LaFerrari’s chief designer, Flavio Manzoni, got hold of entirely the wrong end of the stick when discussing the design elements Ferrari didn’t use on LaFerrari. It seems Manzoni was explaining that during the design process for LaFerrari there were many design elements that couldn’t be included on LaFerrari, but were so good they wanted to keep them for use on future Ferraris. That was seized upon as confirmation that Ferrari were planning a ‘Super’ LaFerrari to sit above the new supercar at an even more extreme price.
