Car dealers are buying again
Wed, 21 Jan 2009Used car sales in the UK (and just about everywhere else, for that matter) have been in the doldrums, to say the least, for many months. The inexorable decline in car values has left many dealers nursing painful losses on stock cars, and has led to the strange situation where, however desperate a dealer was to sell you a new car, he wouldn’t (or couldn’t) offer you a part-ex price. Peugeot 308 CC – GT100 Limited edition sells out pre-launch
Fri, 15 May 2009The Peugeot 308 CC launches in the UK on 1st June As an incentive to get buyers up and running quickly, Peugeot offered a very highly specced 308 CC – the GT100 Limited Edition – to the first 100 buyers in the UK, who not only got a lot more kit but also get their new cars ahead of the official launch. But, with a couple of weeks to go to the first regular cars hitting UK showrooms, Peugeot has announced that the 308 CC GT1 LE has sold out. Which is good news for them, but not so great for those hoping to get the extra kit.
Design Development: Kumho Epoch concept
Mon, 19 Nov 2007The Epoch project is a concept you wouldn't normally expect from a tire manufacturer. Inspired by the company's success in this year's Le Mans 24 hour race, Kumho decided to employ its conceptual abilities to create their version of an environmentally-friendly Le Mans car of the future. Designed around innovative tire technology, the 'blue sky' Epoch eco-friendly racing car is the first in a series of concept vehicles set to be developed by Kumho over the next few years.
