Toyota GT 86 gets 320bhp from turbo & S/C upgrade
Thu, 17 May 2012Gazoo GT 86 Sport FR Concept Toyota’s Gazoo Racing has taken the standard Toyota GT 86 and added a turbo and a supercharger to give the GT 86 320bhp. The Toyota GT86 has managed to deliver almost what we expected now it’s finally arrived, although many have been a bit disappointed at its peaky performance and lack of out and out grunt. So it seems a reasonable bet that Ferrari will have no trouble selling the China 599 to the extremely wealthy who now sit at the top of China’s financial pecking order.
Toyota FT-86G concept (2010) first pictures
Mon, 18 Jan 2010This is Toyota’s FT-86G, the second concept in quick succession from the Japanese car manufacturer that previews a rear-wheel drive sports coupe coming in 2011. Unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the latest FT-86 show car has a sleeker and more aggressive look, after the more rounded and shapely lines of the concept revealed at the 2009 Tokyo motor show. The looks are the major departure, with the new lines giving the 'G' a much sharper set of metalwork.
