Ford names Courtney Force to represent teen-driving program
Mon, 01 Aug 2011Drag racer Courtney Force has been hired to represent Ford's teen-focused Driving Skills for Life program. The program helps young drivers improve their driving skills, focusing on hazard recognition, vehicle handling, and space and speed management. Force says her mom taught her to drive in a Ford Excursion.
Lamborghini Veneno Roadster makes its first appearance

The Veneno Roadster – the roofless version of the Veneno which debuted at Geneva in March – is the next instalment in Lamborghini’s on-going mission to sell titivated versions of its regular cars at very silly money. Under the titivated and extreme exterior of theVeneno Roadster lies a Lamborghini Aventador, but the price for turning an Aventador Roadster in to a Veneo Roadster is mad – the Veneno Roadster looks set to cost €3.3 million plus tax – enough for ten Aventadors.
McLaren MP4-12C GT3 racer (2011): first pictures
Fri, 17 Dec 2010McLaren has announced it will be building a GT racing car, based on the McLaren MP4-12C, with Leicestershire-based racing team CRS Racing. The two companies will supply and support a limited number of GT3 racing cars based for European-based privateers in 2012. A development programme will come first in 2011, with a limited number of European GT races.
