Previews 2015 Volvo XC90 Coupe Volvo gave us a tease for the Concept XC Coupe last month – ahead of its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week – but now the XC Coupe gets a proper reveal. The Concept XC Coupe is clearly a very firm look at the 2015 Volvo XC90, but instead 0f previewing its as a seven-seat, five-door SUV, Volvo has chosen to deliver the Concept XC as a two-door, four-seat XC90 – think of it probably as Volvo’s X6 or an ‘Allroad’ version of the next XC90.
Vauxhall-Opel Junior: a Mini rival for 2013
Fri, 15 Oct 2010Vauxhall-Opel has frozen the design of an upmarket small car, to rival BMW’s Mini and the Fiat 500. Codenamed Junior, the 3.7m-long three-door is two years from production. Based on a shortened Corsa platform, Junior will supplement the utilitarian Agila and conventional Corsa supermini in Vauxhall-Opel’s small car range. Wed, 14 Nov 2012Toyota has revealed more details and pictures of its Avalon sedan, first seen at last year's New York auto show. The Avalon, designed at the carmaker's Calty design studio, offers a glimpse of Toyota's new emphasis on design and to help reposition its flagship sedan within the premium mid-size segment. The height has been reduced by 25 mm while the overhangs have been reduced by 15 mm at the front and 45 mm at the rear.
