Vintage Military Packaged NOS AC Brand Spark Plugs LS-85. All spark plugs listed are in NOS condition. Some packaging may differ from pics as some are packaged as shown, some with brown paper stock wrapped on the outer tube and some with wax paper wrapping. Many of the tubes are Date marked during WWII for military service. From research done recently I have found these spark plugs were for use in the Allison V-12 engines and Pratt & Whitney Radial Engines. The 907 is powered by a 6.0 litre V12 engine delivering 368 kW (500 bhp), positioned longitudinally behind the front axle. Connected by a short propshaft, it transmits its power to a six-speed sequentially controlled gearbox placed longitudinally in front of the rear axle.
98% fear UK road safety not improving
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Research conducted for the latest issue of the Auto Trader Owner’s Guide suggests that a staggering 98% of British motorists fear that the government is failing to improve safety on UK roads. Of the 3,000 drivers surveyed for the quarterly publication, 77% also want theory and practical driving skills to be taught in schools, while 60% are convinced the coming fixed penalty fines for careless driving will do nothing to benefit safety. Euro NCAP finds quadricycles had “severe safety problems”
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Euro NCAP has branched out from cars and crash tested a small selection of “heavy quadricycles” – small, four-wheeled vehicles that were originally developed from motorcycles that are sometimes also known as microcars, and don’t come under the usual car regulations. Although legal for use on the road, these machines do not need to achieve the same rigorous crash test safety standards as ordinary cars. But they are increasingly seen as a fuel-efficient urban transportation alternative, and some of them can be driven teenagers as young as 16.
