Wed, 04 Aug 2010

We sat down one-to-one with Egger and asked him about the new Audi e-tron concept, A8, A1, those headlights and where exactly Audi design is heading.Be warned: it's quite a long video at 23 minutes long, but we judged it better to give you the full unedited film rather than edit it down to soundbites. Watch the video in our player below.

Happiness is a Jaguar XJ6 Coupé, says Michael J. Scott

Thu, 01 Jul 2010

My first Jaguar experience was with the purchase of an XJ6 Coupe which I bought because I thought it was very elegant.  The 4.2 straight six never failed to impress in the way the car just disappeared over the horizon in plush silence (apart from some wind noise from the door seals) and I loved the drama of opening two petrol caps and pumping in fuel from both sides of the car. After long fast drives to southern Germany I always arrived as fresh as when I started out. The car attracted admiring interest from everyone including little old ladies!

New Jaguar XJ – Detail Review

The interest was pretty much unprecedented, and one or two big car web sites crashed during the day of the launch because of huge numbers of visitors looking for information on the new XJ. We didn’t crash (thankfully) but our traffic doubled on the day, and thousands of you watched the launch live on Cars UK.
