McLaren Resurrects Iconic GTR Badge For Track-Only P1

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

NOT convinced that McLaren’s current P1 supercar is fast enough? Don’t worry, as the supercar maker has unveiled plans to build a limited-run version packing 1000 horsepower. You’ll have to be quick though, as this track-only model will be built after the 375th and final regular P1 variant leaves the production line.

Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE Review & Road Test (2010)

Sat, 18 Sep 2010

Land Rover Discovery 4 Review The news this year from the world of Land Rover has been focused on the origins of Land Rover’s first foray in to the world of road-going luxury – the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Range Rover – and on the future of Range Rover as personified by the Range Rover Evoque, which is almost the antithesis of all that Range Rover was conceived to be. The Land Rover Discovery and the Land Rover Freelander may – certainly in the eyes of the car-buying public – be seen as somehow ’Less’ than the Range Rovers, but as we discovered when we recently reviewed the 2010 Freelander 2 HSE, that really isn’t the case.

Ultra-rare Steyr Puch 500 goes to auction

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

£18,000 might seem like a lot of money for a car based on the original Fiat 500, but this particular Steyr Puch example is one of just 33 ever built. Austrian firm Steyr Puch entered into an agreement with Fiat in 1954 after production was halted during World War II, and began production of the 500 under licence. Only 33 right-hand drive examples were ever produced, and of those only two survive; this example and one in the Steyr Puch museum in Austria.
