Subaru Cross Sport Design and Viziv Evolution concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. 'Get tough on killer drivers' call

DRIVERS who cause death on the roads should be jailed for at least five years, according to the majority of motorists. Eighty-two per cent reckon sentences should be higher for those drivers who kill, a survey by road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found. Brake said the latest Government figures showed 62% of those convicted of killing someone through risky driving were jailed and only 9% got sentences of five years or more.

Is this a tease for the 2015 Volvo XC90?

We’re not entirely sure what to make of a new tease video from Volvo that’s dropped in to our inbox. Volvo are trailing it as a ‘World Première’ for the 17th May, and it’s clear it’s going to be something rugged as the very short video focuses clearly on the great outdoors. The video shows an ‘outdoor’ man walking form a vehicle at the edge of a lake towards a lighthouse  and as the shot pulls out we can see the vehicle he’s walking away from, and it’s clearly an SUV or Crossover.
