Description

The PWC Cat Temp Sensor Chip is a must when replacing the OEM Catalytic Converter with the D-plate on your Yamaha GPR. The Temp Sensor imitates the signal sent to the OEM CDI by the Catalytic Converter’s temperature probe preventing CDI flutters, warning devices sounding and engine shut downs due to cat removal. The use of this sensor is only necessary with the OEM CDI. Plugs directly into factory wiring harness.

Feature

*Fits all Yamaha 1200/1300 66V/60T power-valve models

*Direct plug-in to stock harness

*Use when replacing catalytic converter with any brand D-plate

*Prevents engine warnings/shutdowns due to cat removal

The cat removal sensor chip will eliminate warning lights from coming on due to the exhaust temperature sensor circuit being removed with the catalytic converter.

All connector sets are bench tested for performance. Keeps your engine bay looking clean.

Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel averages 62.9mpg on 2,884 mile U.S Road Trip

Tue, 15 Nov 2011

The Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel completes its US Road Trip Last week we reported that Jaguar were taking an XF 2.2 Diesel to the US to drive from New York to Los Angeles to show just how economical the new, smaller engined diesel can be when driven on long, open roads. It was the U.S version of the economy run from Jaguar to Munich earlier this year, when economy-run specialists David and Alexander Madgwick managed to squeeze 57mpg out of the parsimonious XF. Which made us wonder if there was more to this run across the States than just another bash at shining the new XF’s eco-halo.

Hyundai wins Red Dot design award for New Genesis & New i10

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

The Hyundai Genesis (left) and Hyundai i10 have won the Red Dot design Award Oh, how things change. It’s not long since Hyundai’s USP was the cheapness of its cars, but those days are now gone; Hyundai now competes head to head with mainstream makers as the strength of its products improves with every new model and its designs make Hyundai appealing without resorting to bargain basement headline prices. That has been perfectly illustrated with the Red Dot Design awards for both the new Genesis and the new Generation i10, both of which have received the Red Dot Design award – a first for Hyundai.

Hyundai plans bigger V8 for Genesis, Equus

Fri, 25 Jun 2010

When the Hyundai Equus luxury sedan goes on sale this fall, it will be powered by the 4.6-liter Tau V8 from the Genesis sedan. But at an unspecified later date, both the Equus and Genesis sedans will get a new 5.0-liter version of the Tau engine making 429 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai also is working on all-wheel drive for its rear-wheel-drive cars, which is to say the Genesis and Equus, which ride on different versions of the same platform.
