-- For some light Wednesday reading, here's more information than you ever wanted to know about Packard. It includes the horrible neoclassics that plagued the 1970s, and the 1995 revival of the Packard name that attempted to stick a shortened rendition of the famous Packard grille in front of a 440-hp V12, all wrapped in a shape that looked like a melted Twix, as shown above. New Kia Cee’d & Procee’d GT Turbo Geneva 2013 debut

Kia will launch the Cee’d & Pro_cee’d GT at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a 200bhp Turbo engine and cosmetic tweaks. We’ve already revealed that Hyundai are planning a turbo version of the i30 3-door (perhaps the Hyundai i30 R?) and Kia are following suit to with go-faster versions of the new Cee’d, new Pro_cee’d and, it appears, even the new Cee’d Sportswagon. The plan is to kick of with the launch of the Cee’d GT and Pro_cee’d GT at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, with every possibility Kia will also launch a Cee’d Sportswagon GT later in 2013.

The Bluebird DC50 (pictured) is an electric supercar to celebrate Campbell world speed records Don Wales has an impressive family tree – certainly when it comes to speed – with Sir Malcolm Campbell his grandfather and Donald Campbell his uncle. So it’s no big surprise that Don is plotting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Donald Campbell’s land and water world speed records in 2014 with a new, limited edition supercar, taking time out from making Bluebirds to break the electric land speed record. But the anniversary is in 2014, so Campbell junior has decided that his celebratory supercar – the Bluebird DC50 – will be an electric supercar rather than an ICE one.
