Up for grabs, I have a set of carbs (with choke) removed from a 1989 Yamaha Pro 50. The carbs are very clean cosmetically, and they were removed from what I believe was a freshwater motor. They may fit several years, and possibly 40 HP motors as well, but I'm not sure which motors exactly. The carbs have been sitting for about 1 year. They may need to be cleaned or rebuilt, but I suspect they shouldn't need much attention.
Feel free to email me with any questions. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Shipping is fast and FREE. |

Tomorrow's world: lightweight carbon composites
Mon, 10 Oct 2011Once all the dust settles on The Great Battery Farce (the idea that the world's ills will be taken care of by sticking a battery in everything that moves and charging it up) we may eventually face up to the fact that the best way to move something around more economically, is to move less of it. That means making things lighter, a lot lighter. Car makers are working on it and manufacturers like Audi and Jaguar have already become masters in bringing aluminium to the mass production.
Electric vehicles promoted
Thu, 10 Oct 2013THE SCOTTISH Government is teaming up with industry leaders and environmental campaigners in a new drive to get more electric cars on the roads. Transport Minister Keith Brown has launched the E-Cosse partnership which brings together government body Transport Scotland with car manufacturers, power companies, local councils and environmental charity WWF Scotland. Mr Brown said the new group would "develop a shared vision and set future priorities to promote the uptake of electric vehicles in Scotland".
