I have a set of very nice transfer rods for a Yamaha SRX 700. I bought these and used them for about a month and took them off when I sold the snowmobile. They are very good condition and close to brand new. Really the only marks are from being stored and moved around in the garage for a few years. I thought they were Bender brand but do not see any markings on them indicating that. These things are a must have for any SRX rider. They should also fit an SX, Vmax, and a bunch of other Yamaha snowmobiles. Do your own homework. I believe they sell for $199 new. These are basically brand new. With a few scuffs from the garage.

Top Gear Veyron vs McLaren – the Video

Sun, 05 Jul 2009

McLaren F1 vs Bugatti Veyron - the Top Gear Video On paper, you would expect the Veyron to crush the McLaren F1. After all, it’s a much newer car and much more powerful, with 1,000bhp as compared to the McLaren F1′s relatively paltry 627bhp. But the McLaren is lighter and nimbler, so it’s less unequal than the numbers on paper may first suggest.

Toyota Prius Plug-In is practically perfect in London

Tue, 26 Jul 2011

Toyota Prius Plug-in - perfect London transport We though we ought to do Toyota the courtesy of a non-disparaging headline after the first interim results of trials of the Prius Plug-in in the hands of drivers in London have turned out to be very positive. Toyota and EDF Energy have supplied – on lease – 20 plug-in hybrids (PHEV) to London businesses and organisations (no Joe Public on this trial) to get some real-world feedback on usage, journey distance and recharging patterns. For those of you who don’t remember, the Toyota Prius Plug-in is a regular 3rd Gen Prius but with a length of flex and a set of lithium-ion batteries that allows users to grab some charge from the mains and to drive further in EV mode – up to 12.5 miles in perfect conditions.

GM and PSA sign a global strategic alliance (2012)

Wed, 29 Feb 2012

GM and PSA Peugeot Citroen this evening announced a 'long-term and broad-scale global strategic alliance' which will see the three brands co-develop cars in Europe and, in some cases, globally. Opel/Vauxhall and Peugeot Citroen will start sharing vehicle platforms and components, with the first jointly developed models expected by 2016. The focus will be on small and medium sized cars, MPVs and crossovers, but could in future stretch to include vans and commercial vehicles.
