Peugeot designers showcase 208's attributes

With a more dynamic design than its forebear, the new 208 is both lighter and smaller than its predecessor, aiming to embody ‘the principles of agility and efficiency', Peugeot claims. In the video to the left head of design Gilles Vidal and designers Pierre Authier, Anna Costamagna and Sylvain Henry talk us through some of the key design elements of the new B-segment car.
Jaguar cool in white at L.A. Auto Show with C-X16 & XKR-S Convertible
Thu, 17 Nov 2011Jaguar at the LA Auto Show with a brace of white cats Jaguar may not be going to the Detroit Motor Show in January (forsaking it for Delhi) but it’s put on a show in Los Angeles with a new white version of the Jaguar C-X16 Concept (XE) and the new XKR-S Convertible. The Jaguar C-X16 – which looks set to be the Jaguar XE when it arrives – conspires to look even more production-ready at LA than it already did at Frankfurt despite, as far as we can tell, nothing more than a new coat of paint. Some of the elements that seem unlikely to make it in to production – such as the rear hatch which opens E-Type like and the ultra-modern interior – are still present, yet on the C-X16 they seem to fit; it would be a shame to see them go for the production XE.
Hyundai plays chauffeur to Inspirational Women

We all know by now that Hyundai UK PR has a penchant for ‘Girl Power’, which explains why we’ve had Hyundai out playing with the Storm Model Agency and getting cosy with Harrods. Now, in the next instalment in their ’Girls are dong it for themselves’ PR campaign, Hyundai has been busy chauffeuring the inspirational women from Tesco’s ‘Mum of the Year’ award around London, popping from the Savoy to Downing street for a bit of high-profile PR and photo opportunity, with celebs like Mel C, Denise Van Outen and Emma Forbes roped in for good measure.
