The engine was removed from a boat after being on the hard for 8 years. This Yanmar marine diesel engine model 3JH2TL-K was designed originally for a marine generator and converted to marine propulsion engine with the addition of Hurst marine transmission model number HBW150-2,0R. This engine is totally operational and will function as designed.

With less then 200 hours the engine for all practical  propose  is new. This 3 cylinder turbo engine (3JH2-TE series) is capable of generating almost 48HP @ 3600 RPM.  There is no warranty available from Yanmar because of the age of the engine.  

Renault buys Caterham stake in Alpine as Anglo-French deal collapses

It marks the end of the road for the Anglo-French collaboration, leaving Renault the sole owner in Société des Automobiles Alpine. Today’s announcement terminates the 50-50 partnership signed in November 2012 between the two companies, a partnership that started with the promise of building two sister sports cars, one from Alpine and one from Caterham.

Ferrari 149M Project for Geneva Motor Show – looks like a California update

Ferrari Project 149M will be revealed on 12th February 2014 It’s was 2012 when Ferrari updated their entry-level car – the Ferrari California – with less weight, more power and a handling package, and it looks like they’re about to do the same again. Ferrari are trailing a reveal of ‘Project 149M’ for the 12th February – and a reveal at the Geneva Motor Show next month – which, although slightly cryptic sounding, does point firmly to a Ferrari California ‘Modificato’. The California has the internal product code ‘F149′ and Ferrari has a history of producing ‘Modificato’ or ‘M’ versions of their road cars to move the game on – think Ferrari 575M.

The new Alto will be unveiled at the Paris motor show this autumn and promises to be both clean and frugal. And if the Swift is anything to go by the Suzuki Alto should be a cracking drive too, plus prices should start at under £7k when the it goes on sale in early 2009.
