The track-focused, but road-legal, Jaguar XKR-S GT is aimed just at North America, but Jaguar will build it for the UK if there’s demand. When we reported the arrival of the XKR-S GT last week, we knew the new Jag was being offered in the US (25 cars) and Canada (5 cars) but we didn’t know what the numbers where for the rest of the world. It turns out, at the moment, that the North American run is all there is.

Land Rover According to the latest figures from industry body the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), Britain averaged OVER 50mpg last year. The institution analysed efficiency figures for all new cars sold in the UK in 2013, working out the average CO2 emissions from the 2.26 million cars sold in Britain last year and coming up with a figure of 128.3g/km. Mercedes-Benz reveals new V-class

Mercedes-Benz has returned to the luxury MPV ranks with a resurrection of the V-class – the commercial vehicle based multiseat van first introduced to the German car maker’s lineup in 1996. Positioned as an upmarket rival to the likes of the popular Volkswagen Multivan, the new V-class was conceived and developed in a joint-engineering program with the third-generation Vito, which it will be produced with at Mercedes-Benz’s Vitoria factory in Spain. Set to go on sale in Europe shortly after its public debut at the Geneva auto show in early March, the V-class is being considered for sale in the U.S.
