are likely see are SA2005, SA2010, and SA2015. Every 5 years, Snell releases
a new standard which is a new series of tests the helmets must pass in
order to receive the new rating. The rating a helmet receives generally
means it's legal for use in most event types for 10 years from the
rating:
ZAMP FSA-2 Helmet Sizing Proper helmet fit is vital to the performance of a helmet during an impact. For the helmet to perform properly during an impact, it must stay securely on the head. Measuring the head is only a starting point for the entire sizing procedure. Due to varying shapes, heads that are apparently the same size when measured may not necessarily fit the same size helmet. A small metal tape measure or a cloth tape may be used to make your initial measurement. You can also use a string, which can then be laid against a measuring tape. Measure the head from a point half an inch above the eyebrows and around the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements. The largest measurement is the one you want to use.  |

Patrick le Quément to receive EyesOn Design 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award
Wed, 24 Sep 2014Patrick le Quément has been selected as the latest recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Le Quément will be presented with the award in Detroit on 19 June 2015, as part of the EyesOn Design week.Le Quément was the senior vice-president of corporate design at Renault from 1995 to 2009 and was chairman of the joint design policy group coordinating design within the Renault-Nissan alliance.At Renault, he oversaw the design of the Twingo, Scenic, Espace III and IV, Laguna II, Kangoo, Megane II and many other production and concept cars that defined the look of the era. He is currently a consultant in industrial and strategic design and the co-founder of the Sustainable Design School in France.The recipient of the annual EyesOn Design Lifetime Achievement Award is selected by its previous winners.
Nissan to move Murano build to Tennessee, report says
Thu, 13 Sep 2012Nissan Motor Co. plans to shift output of the Murano crossover to its Smyrna, Tenn., plant from Japan, as it overhauls production amid the soaring yen, a news report said. The changeover will come around 2014, when the Murano is expected to undergo a full model change, Japan’s Nikkan Kogyo business daily reported on Thursday.
