    Talks between Saab's owner Swedish Automobile and two Chinese investors on a takeover deal to rescue the ailing carmaker will continue even though a memorandum of understanding signed by the parties only runs until Tuesday, Saab said. "They (the parties) are still in discussions about the structure of the deal going forward and they are continuing their cooperation as if the memorandum of understanding continues," Gunilla Gustavs, a Saab spokeswoman, told Automotive News Europe.     Alfa Romeo has revealed the Alfa 4C at the Geneva Motor Show and the Alfa 4C Launch Edition which will cost €60,000. The Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition – just 1,000 are being built with only 400 staying in Europe – will cost a fairly strong €60k (around £52,000) and comes in either Carrara White of Alfa Red with a carbon fibre bodykit that adds carbon fibre for the spoiler at the back, to the door mirrors and round the headlights with dark alloys and front air intakes. The suspension also gets a tweak.

    Audi A5 and Audi S5 Cabriolets announced With the Audi A5 Cabriolet and the Audi S5 Cabriolet scheduled for launch in the Spring, Audi has released details of both models today, together with a whole heap of images. The A5 Cabriolet offers up four petrol versions – 1.8TFSI, 2.0TSI (in either 180bhp or 210bhp guise) and a 3.2FSI – and a couple of diesels – the 2.7TDI and the 3.0TDI. The S5 Cabriolet gets the new Supercharged V6 with 333bhp we told you about in November.
