Mon, 15 Mar 2010Toyota has fixed half of the 180k cars recalled over the sticky throttle problems It seems like forever ago that we revealed the enormous problems Toyota had with a mass worldwide recall on a chunk of the cars they’ve produced in the last few years, but it’s actually only a little over a month – even less since we reported on the Prius recall. But having reported the negatives about Toyota – deservedly so – it’s only fair to report the positives. The Toyota Recall for the sticky accelerator affected a rather significant 180,965 cars in the UK alone.

So no, the 2014 Countryman isn’t the big version of the new MINI Hatch, it’s a refreshed version of the current Countryman with some minor tweaks to keep it current. It’s the usual facelift fodder for the Countryman with a new nose incorporating a new grill with big lower scoop, red ‘S’ badges for the quicker models, LED fog lights, new alloys and underbody guards for the All4 4WD versions.
Tesla Model S accused of unintended acceleration
Wed, 25 Sep 2013The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration received a complaint on Tuesday for the unintended acceleration of a Tesla Model S. We haven't heard much of that term since the large Toyota recall in 2009. Before that it was with Audi in the 1980s.
