Starr Trust urges car donations
Thu, 14 Nov 2013A CHARITY that helps young people in the Brighton area achieve their goals is asking the public to donate old cars as part of a fundraising drive. The Starr Trust has teamed up with Giveacar, a non-profit social enterprise which collects unwanted and unused cars for charity. Cars are collected free of charge nationwide by Giveacar then sold through an online auction or disposed of at an authorised treatment facility.

But this month’s CAR Magazine – on sale now – reveals the new game’s hero car, the ultimate track racer designed by Red Bull and GT coders Polyphony. The 249mph racer, the Red Bull X1 prototype, is a collaboration between legendary F1 designer Adrian Newey and Kazunori Yamauchi, the genius behind Gran Turismo.

Much of the detail we’ve already reported is confirmed with the official reveal, and we already know what the 2 Series looks like thanks to the official photos leaking yesterday, , but now we know which models are going to be rolling in to BMW’s UK showrooms in early 2014. There will be three 2-Series models available at launch – the 220i, 220d and M235i – which will cost £25,040, £25,868 and £34,250 respectively, with a choice of four trim levels - SE, Sport Modern and M Sport.
