Up for bid is 1 (one) used original OEM Corvair center cap (hub cap) in good overall condition (see PICs). The cap measures 9 5/8” outside diameter and 9 1/16” inside diameter. This cap is used and does show some signs of use, wear and age (see PICs). I’m listing this cap as being for a 60s Corvair based on the information I received from the previous owner and my research on the Internet, but it may fit other year/models of vehicle. Feel free to ask any questions or request more PICs – I’m always willing to help find those hard to locate parts. The new Ford Vertrek concept car, unveiled today at the 2011 North American International Auto Show, is a signal that they now want to roll out the same thinking to the SUV market.  Currently, Ford sells the Kuga crossover in Europe and the Escape in America.

New dynamic 3D button touchscreen tech

A pioneering new technology allows touchscreens to ‘grow’ dynamic buttons from flat surfaces. The new technology, developed by US company Tactus Technology, uses minute channels within the screen to siphon liquid into button shaped cavities that then rise when pressed, alleviating some of the muscle-memory and distraction issues often leveled at touchscreens. Craig Ciesla, CEO of Tactus Technology, says that it was his desire to merge the elegance of the iPhone's user interface with the tactility of Blackberry buttons that led to the technology's development.

We have the first photos of Volvo’s sporty take on the new V40 – the Volvo V40 R Design – ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show. Update: Volvo has now caught up with this story, so we’ve added a few more photos and a video. The V40 R-Design will be available as an option across all the V40′s range of engines but the Sport suspension still remains an option, not standard.
