Bought this propeller to try on my boat and it was WAY underpropped. Bought the exact same prop in a 21p and it works beautifully.

This 12.75x17p right-hand (std) aluminum propeller has been used once in a freshwater lake for less than 15min. Just long enough to know it wasn't enough pitch for my boat and partially remove the sticker. I'd keep it as a spare, but I still have my old 3 blade for that. I believe it fits both Mercury and Yamaha 15 spline shafts, though you'll need your own specific thrust washer ($5 locally if you don't already have one).

You can find plenty of information online about this prop, but I can tell you from my experience with 4 blade props (including a 21p version of this one currently) that they hold much better in turns and high trim conditions, provide a little extra stern lift, accelerate better, are more fuel efficient at cruise, and sacrifice little to no top end (unlike 4 blades of old). I looked at stainless steel versions first, but for the price I can buy 2 of these and still have cash left over.

Here's a couple links about these props if you're bored:

Aston Martin Lagonda

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

The Aston Martin Lagonda name has been resurrected again, but this iteration promises to be far less controversial than the 2009 SUV concept. Created for a select group of Middle Eastern clients, this large three-box sedan (dimensions haven't yet been made available) offers a well-judged balance between the current Aston Martin range and the idiosyncratic 1970s Lagonda by William Towns. Its proportions are very extreme for a luxury sedan, with a cabin sat far rearwards behind a very shallow A-pillar.

College Exhibition: CCS - American Iron and Steel Institute Challenge 2004

Tue, 05 Oct 2004

Transportation Design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies recently presented the results of a project sponsored by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). The unveiling of the students' concept vehicles is the finale of the 16th annual AISI/CCS Summer Internship Program that set the transportation design students the task of designing functional, innovative 'Hollywood-inspired' vehicles that integrate environmental responsibility, cost efficiency and innovative steel materials. "The AISI/CCS summer internship was created to inspire a new generation of automotive designers to develop alternative fuel vehicles, lightweight steel structures and a flexible platform base, all of which are real goals for today's automotive product developers," said Brian Aranha, vice president of commercial for Dofasco Inc.
