Nissan inaugurates new studio in Taiwan
Tue, 06 Nov 2007Nissan opened its new Yulon Nissan Design Center (YNDC) in San-Yi, Taiwan yesterday, November 5th. The recent addition joins the global stable of Nissan studios responsible for bringing top talent and the best in creative design thinking to the company's global products. The YNDC studio joins Nissan's Atsugi and Harajuku Design Centers in Japan, the Nissan Design America studios in Farmington Hills, Michigan and San Diego, California and the Nissan Design Europe facility in London, UK.

Mon, 02 Dec 2013New (2014) Mazda3 now on sale: Price from £16,695 The new Mazda3 arrived in the summer, but only now has Mazda got round to revealing prices as the new 3 goes on sale in the UK as a Hatchback or Fastback. The new Mazda3 has grwon in size, gets better looking, offers Mazda’s SKYACTIV-G and SKYACTIV-D engines and looks set to offer even more competition for the VW Golf and Ford Focus. Mazda has managed to stretch the Mazda3 range to a total of 36 models – 21 hatchbacks and 15 Fastbacks – with a choice of three petrol engines - the new 1.5-litre with 110PS and two versions of the 2.0 litre with 120PS or 165PS – and the 2.2 litre 150PS SKYACTIV-D diesel.

Tue, 05 Aug 2008The Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, held the annual exhibition of its Master's course in Transportation Design this past June. Done in collaboration with Alfa Romeo, this year's final presentation was attended by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Styling for Fiat Group Automobiles and Maserati. The final thesis projects presented by the 15 students on the course answered a brief to design the next flagship sedan from Alfa Romeo.
