Renault Twingo and Clio Grand Tour

Thu, 08 Mar 2007

By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 08 March 2007 10:12 French but sans le funky look A busy show stand for Renault – as well as unveiling its new Twingo city car, the French manufacturer pulled the wraps off a thinly disguised version of its upcoming Clio estate to take on its Fabia and Peugeot 207 wagon rivals. Renault is keen to move away from the utilitarian look and feel of the original model – it will leave cheap and cheerful sales to the Clio Campus – and pitch the new model at sharper-suited rivals like the Mini.

The UK has the highest rate of diesel tax in Europe while only Sweden imposes a higher petrol tax duty than the UK, the foundation said. Its figures showed that tax accounts for 59% of the price of diesel in the UK, with Sweden (56%) second and Italy (55%) third.

Pagani C9: the tease begins despite problems at Pagani

Although logically it’s only a step on from bizarre camera angles of minute detail, something we see regularly. This odd little video came across our radar yesterday when Harry Metcalfe – he of Evo founding fame – posted a link to a new website set up by an Italian web marketing company showing the video below.
