Our mufflers are 14 gauge round shells.   Each muffler has double reinforced recessed end caps with 2 baffle plates.  To reinforce the baffles, we use 2 baffles equal to 3” of straight –through flow.   This construction is an improvement over the 1 baffle straight-through original design, which depended on asbestos to achieve a quiet sound.   There is a lot of work constructing a muffler this way that you do not see.   The result is an original sound like the NOS asbestos packed mufflers   Our competition welds up mufflers that look & sound like tin-cans.

GM returning to leasing with luxury vehicles

Thu, 30 Jul 2009

General Motors will return to the leasing business focusing on luxury vehicles, but not on a broader basis, Vice Chairman Bob Lutz said. "We will get back into leasing, but we are not going to use massive subsidized leasing to drive volume because it's volume without profitability," Lutz said July 29 in an interview with Automotive News. "We'd rather sell less at higher profit than sell more at lower profit." Lutz said it still would make sense for GM to do more leasing on its luxury vehicles.

Hyundai dealers will get Elantra coupe, redesigned Azera

Tue, 08 Feb 2011

Hyundai is continuing its recent product onslaught with two new or redesigned models to be launched by January 2012. Hyundai told dealers attending the NADA convention in San Francisco that a two-door coupe version of the 2011 Elantra will go on sale this spring and a redesigned Azera sedan will go on sale in January 2012. “They showed us a photo of it and it's gorgeous,” Doug Fox, a multi-franchise dealer who owns a Hyundai dealership in Ann Arbor, Mich., said of the Elantra coupe.

One Lap of the Web: Dying wishes, Euro cars and worst traffic jam in history

If you’d like to start the day off with a good cry, read about 17-year-old Zach Sobiech over at Autoblog.
