Cord Automobile Wheels

Possibly They Are From

A Supercharged ’37 Phaeton

Or

A Supercharged Westchester Sedan.

Possibly they will fit other Cords  as well.

I Do Not Know The Exact Application,

Year or Model Cord These Wheels came From.

I Do Know These Are Rare And Hard To Find Parts !!!

My friend restored and owned a  Super Charged'37 Phaeton  and a Super Charged Westchester.  These were left in his parts room. I’m not sure if they were for the Sedan, the Phaeton or neither one. I do not know exactly what their application is. I only know they are for a Cord.

They are 16” in diameter and one has an ancient “Mohawk Super Chief” 6.50X16 tire mounted on it that still holds air. If you don't want the tire I can dismount it before I ship the wheels.

The wheels are unrestored, nearly 80 years old and in as found condition but they are here. They are not perfect. They need to be restored.

The blue wheels show signs of repair around the center hole which I understand was common.

The brownish maroon wheel shows NO SIGNS OF PAST REPAIR or CRACKS to my knowledge. I consider it the best of the bunch.

None of the wheels show excessive rust or pitting. They are from CALIFORNIA cars. I think they are very restorable.

THEY ARE HEAVY AND LARGE. SHIPPING WILL BE CALCULATED AFTER THE SALE. YOU MAY PICK THEM UP IF YOU WANT.

I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE.

These parts are being sold AS/IS with NO WARRANTY, NO REFUNDS AND NO RETURNS. This ain’t my first rodeo. You are not going to pull the old buy them, complain, get your money back, keep my parts and send me back the old scabs you already had. Been there and had that done.

PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY. IT IS THE BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO BE SURE THE WHEELS ARE WHAT YOU WANT AND FIT YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE YOU BID OR BUY THEM.

These parts are from a 50 year collection that I am just beginning to sort out and sell. I have piles of Cord parts and will be listing them as we sort and identify them. MORE TO COME

Vauxhall Adam SUV/Crossover on the way

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

Vauxhall Adam SUV/Crossover on the way based on the Rocks Concept (pictured) The Vauxhall/Opel Adam is now finding its way on to our roads, and it’s a decent – if slightly generic – take on the funky little urban runaround. But GM have big plans for the Adam and want to create a car that can compete on level terms with cars like the MINI and Fiat’s 500. So the Adam comes with plenty of personalisation options and daft names to let younger car buyers create the car they want.
