we offer a complete, do-it-yourself installation power trunk release kit
designed to fit your vehicle. This is not a “Universal” collection of
parts. We provide a comprehensive, vehicle specific system that is
engineered with the shade tree mechanic in mind. Our kit comes with
everything needed to install a power trunk release into your car using common hand tools that most automotive
enthusiasts already have. This kit is made with all NEW parts, not from 40 year old wrecks, with full color instructions that can be installed in an afternoon. On some cars the mounting area for the latch may need some minor trimming to install the latch. No modification of the striker is necessary on the cars listed. The factory key lock is retained and still fully functional, however it will also work without the lock cylinder for shaved lock applications.

According to Aston Martin, the Cygnet Launch Edition White and Cygnet Launch Edition Black are being built to ‘exemplify the highly bespoke nature of this unique car.’ Are we alone in spotting the irony of building a run of identical vehicles to highlight the customisable nature of the Cygnet? The Cygnet Launch Edition White is supposed to be about serenity, with Snow White paint, white diamond-turned alloy wheels, and white Aston badges on the outside, and white leather on the inside.
