    Up for auction is one 1964 Oldsmobile Delta 88, 98, Starfire, Jetstar Part Number Service Guide with illustrations and OEM part numbers. This 16 (sixteen) page manual was published by Mitchell Manuals in 1971, and is in a loose leaf format that can be installed in a binder. This manual was originally used by dealership body shops to estimate repair costs/damage on 1964 Oldsmobile Delta 88, 98, Starfire, Jetstar vehicles, but is now a valuable source of information for looking up OEM factory part numbers that are discontinued or no longer available. The manual includes information for sheet metal, trim, steering, suspension, AC, cooling, exhaust, and other body mechanical parts. This is an original Mitchell service manual, not a reprint. This manual is used, but is in good used condition. There are scuffs, dirt marks, dog eared pages, and normal wear from use, but the manual is in overall good condition.

The new 2014 BMW 4 Series (pictured) has been revealed ahaed of a Frankfurt debut We had the arrival of the new BMW 4 Series as a concept back in  December, but this afternoon BMW has revealed details of the production 4 Series ahead of a debut at Frankfurt in September. Looking little changed from the concept, the new 4 Series – a replacement for the old 3 Series Coupe – sits on the same basic platform as the new 3 Series but with wider track and lower suspension. A bit longer, a bit wider and a bit lower than the old 3 Series Coupe, the new 4 Series also gets a longer wheelbase – a bit more room in the back – and weight rises a bit too.

NHTSA probing coolant leak in Porsche 911?

In another embarrassing failure to understand what they're supposed to be regulating, the NHTSA has announced that they are investigating a “coolant leak” in Porsche 911s that were built with the GT1 engine block between 2001 and 2007. Maybe when they said coolant, they were talking about the oil that circulates in a 911 to keep the engine cool? Next thing you know, they'll be checking out fuel pumps on the Tesla Model S!
