Jaguar: Sales rose 8% in 2008
Tue, 13 Jan 2009Jaguar Cars Ltd., which stopped reporting sales figures after being purchased by India's Tata Motors in June, said global sales rose 8 percent last year while U.S. volume fell. Jaguar sold 65,000 vehicles in 2008, Managing Director Mike O'Driscoll said in an interview at the Detroit auto show.

It adds a bespoke trailer to the Smart city car, letting customers drive into town two-up in the regular Smart, or go on a longer journey to the seaside with all the clobber (for two, no families allowed – unless the children can be flatpacked into the boot) stuffed into the trailer. Only one minivan in Chrysler's future, no subcompacts for U.S. market
Mon, 10 Oct 2011The Chrysler Group will offer just one minivan in the future--the Chrysler Town & Country--as part of a plan to end duplication in dealer showrooms and give each of its brands a strong and distinctive lineup. Under the plan, the Dodge Grand Caravan minivan and Dodge Avenger mid-sized sedan will be replaced by a single crossover in 2013, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne told Automotive News. The Chrysler brand will get a replacement for the 200 sedan when the Avenger, its sibling, is replaced.
