Here for sale is a complete "Show Quality" 1966 Pontiac GTO tri-power setup. It was just taken off my 1965 Pontiac GTO's 455 engine. The reason for it’s removal was because I’m changing my engine over to a 4 barrel manifold so that I can add an EFI system. The tri-power intake manifold is an aluminum after market that was purchased from The Parts Place. All three carburetors are originals, I bought the carbs about 35 years ago, so I know for sure that they are definately original carbs. All three carbs have been completely rebuilt this year with the correct jets and brass floats. All three have new throttle bodies. The air cleaners are K.& N. The thermostat housing & all the brackets & linkage have been triple chrome plated in show quality chrome. This setup includes everything you’ll need right down to a brand new throttle cable. The thermostat was just replaced with a high flow 160 degree stat, the throttle bracket is the correct 1966 bracket and has been chrome plated. I just removed the setup from my car last week and it was running perfectly. After taking it off my engine the manifold was painted with the correct 1966 Pontiac blue high temperature paint, and then clear coated with high temperature clear coat. Pictures 1233 & 1235 are pictures of the setup on my car. The manifold then was aluminum with no paint on it. Now I think it actually looks better with the correct color paint on it. Everything is in pristine condition, “SHOW QUALITY”. I guarantee that whoever buys this setup will not be disappointed. It looks and works perfectly. It is definitely the best setup that you will find for this price.
