“Here's a good clean 1967- 72 era Mopar A-body 4-speed clutch / brake pedal assembly. Believe this was from a 1967-69 era A-body Dart or Cuda, as does not have provision for clutch safety switch that 1970-72 A-bodies had on clutch pedal and housing, but could be easilly modified to work for 1970-72 A-bodies also with the addition of a few holes drilled in it. Nice and clean, not rusty or pitted up. No modifications or bad damages. Looks like it was likely blasted clean a while back and put in a satin black paint. All moves nice and freely. Does have original over center spring. Getting hard to find this clean and at a realistic opening bid price to boot!”

Up for your auction bids is this very good original used 1967-72 era Dodge and Plymouth A-body 4-speed clutch and brake pedal assembly. I believe this was original to a 1967-69 Mopar A-body Dart or Barracuda 4-speed car, as it does not have provisions for mounting a clutch safety switch on pedal or pedal housing (that 1970- 72 A-bodies:  Dart, Duster, Demon, Scamp had) but that could be changed with the addition of some clutch safety switch mounting holes drilled in pedal and housing easy enough, or maybe not needed at all-- if you are not using a clutch safety switch on your 1970-72 A-body.  

Featured 1967-72 era Mopar A-body clutch / brake pedal assembly is a very solid and clean piece!  Not rusty or pitted up.  Looks like a previous owner blasted it and painted it a matt black finish a few years back.  No bad damage or modification.  Looks pretty complete.  Pedals move freely.  This does have good over center clutch pedal spring on it still that is in good -working shape and not rusty or pitted. All mounting studs to firewall and mounting threaded holes to dash frame are good too.  With just a little clean up and detailing, this should be a very good assembly for your nice original or restored  car!

Spyker D8 SUV back in 2014 – but when did it become mid-engined?!

Apparently, the Spyker D8 SUV (pictured) will somehow be mid-engined It’s no surprise that Spyker are heading to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show with a ‘new’ version of their ‘Super SUV’ D8 Peking-Paris. That’s because Victor Muller managed to get Youngman to invest €25 million in the D8 project last year (it’s Victor’s speciality) with the plan being to finally take the Spyker SUV closer to a market launch in time to take on the new ‘Super SUVs’ from the likes of Bentley and Lamborghini. But what is a surprise is what Autocar claim Victor said to them about the D8.

The fact that the Range Rover Evoque already sells, to a big degree, on looks might make you conclude that there’s a limited market for customised versions. Peugeot has released pictures of its first 208-derived rally car. Peugeot says the 208 R2 has been under development since the standard model was announced in 2011, and promises to reveal two more motorsport-bred 208s by the end of 2012. What will the next two 208 sports cars be?
