It’s the McBatmobile! McLaren X-1 debuts at Pebble Beach
Fri, 17 Aug 2012McLaren Special Operations has delivered the McLaren X-1 to Pebble Beach, a re-bodied, one-off McLaren MP4-12C. If McLaren were looking for a way to show just how much the customisation service at Woking - McLaren Special Operations – can actually offer clients, the commission from an un-named McLaren client to create this one-off McLaren must have been manna from heaven.
Aston Martin V12 Zagato production debut in Kuwait
Fri, 27 Jan 2012Aston Martin V12 Zagato production debut in Kuwait The production ready version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato we first saw at Villa D’Este will be unveiled at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance in February. Last spring saw the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – spiritual successor to the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato – arrive at Villa D’Este, looking every bit as good as you would expect an Aston Martin by Zagato to look. There were doubts expressed about whether the v12 Zagato would go in to production – at least publicly – but it was always clear that the V12 Zagato was Aston Martin['s next halo car, following on from the even more extreme (certainly cost-wise) Aston Martin One-77.
Owner gets sunken car back
Fri, 14 Mar 2014A SUBMERGED CAR that was abandoned because of flooding on the Somerset Levels has been reunited with its owner. Hubert Zajaczkowski, 21, was forced to leave his Seat Toledo on a road near the village of Muchelney on Christmas Eve because of the rising water. For weeks, the car remained stranded under several feet of water, filmed and photographed by national and international media and press as an illustration of the disaster unfolding in Somerset.
