Up for your auction bids is this new in the original bag reproduction woodgrain radio faceplate for 1970 GTX or 1970 Coronet R/T.  May have also been used on some 1970 Charger models (S.E.?) as well, but don't remember for sure.  Please be sure this plate looks correct for your make, model, and year car, before bidding on it.

Featured new reproduction woodgrain radio faceplate was just taken out of the plastic bag for these pictures, to help give you a better idea of what this looks like.  There is a part #of 2984697 on the back side of plate (think was on original Mopar plate part #).  There is no part # attached to the bag or the parts themselves from the reproducer of these, but they are both new and unused condition. Not sure what company reproduced this, but looks good and authentic for a reproduction, in my opinion.

Don't miss this beautiful new piece if your car's is cut, broken, or all scratched up (which most car's plates are from these popular 1970 B-body models with rallye dash).  Be sure to put in that good bid today!  Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!

Imagining the Future: The Southern California Automotive Design Studio

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

Southern California is home to more automotive design studios than anywhere else in the world, and to commemorate that relationship and celebrate Art Center College of Design's 60th Anniversary, the Petersen Automotive Museum is putting on a new permanent exhibition among its rolling time capsules and automotive memorabilia from Hollywood. The new design exhibition showcases the history of the local design community and its contribution to the world. Located in the ‘Streetscape' section of the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Car Design Studio is at the modern end of a realistic walk-through diorama of California's history as it relates to the automobile.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (2013) first official pictures

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

This is the new C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette. It's the fist 'Vette to wear the classic Stingray badge for three-and-a-half decades, but not much else is retro about the new coupe. Out go the rounded taillights and glassy rear hatch of bygone models, and in comes a sharp new look with hints of Nissan GT-R, Ferrari F12 and Camaro about it.
