Please choose your carburetor kit from the numbers that are stamped on the carburetor or the metal tag. Even the metal tag can be questionable as they can be swapped around. Even if you think you have the original carburetor it is best to confirm this with the numbers on the carburetor. We have had customers POSITVE it's the original only to get their kit and find out it doesn't fit. Their carburetor is actually a 1976 not a 1977... One year off can make a difference in the kit you need.

Ford Tourneo Custom
Fri, 23 Mar 2012The Tourneo Custom – which will take the iconic Transit name in commercial vehicle form – was first unveiled in concept form at the 2012 Geneva motor show and has been confirmed for production. The Transite/Tourneo follows Ford's Kinetic design approach that features on the company's passenger car range, including a sportier stance, bold rising shoulder line, flush glazing, distinctive trapezoidal grille and prominent wheel lips. Available in eight or nine seat configurations as a passenger vehicle, the Tourneo Custom comes in both short and long wheelbase, which measure in at 4,970mm and 5,430mm respectively while the vehicle stands at less than two meters high.
Dodhy motors warning to buyers
Mon, 04 Nov 2013MORE THAN half of those seeking help for "dodgy deal" second-hand car purchases experience faults with their vehicle within a month of buying it, according to Citizens Advice. Essential repairs include smoke emerging from the engine, corroded brake pipes and snapped clutches. Of the 2,519 complaints to Citizens Advice about used cars in the first two weeks of September, a total of 83% were about faults.
AA urges private parking regulation
Fri, 11 Jul 2014PRIVATE LAND parking enforcers are "free to reap any and every parking infringement," despite recent legislation, according to the AA. Highlighting findings of the new Parking on Private Land Appeals (Popla) body, the AA said the requirements of the 2102 Protection of Freedoms Act were not always being observed. Popla's report for 2013/14 said some private parking operators were acting outside some statutory provisions of the Act in their pursuit of those who they think have offended.
