This offering is for a 1978 Dodge Aspen original 2 Door 360 Super Coupe Body. This is a scarce production car, not many made and with the fender flares a one year build. The car is Class legal for NHRA, IHRA and Nostalgia Drag Race competition and other organizations. The car is currently running in Super Stock, can run Stock also with a 318 or 360 engine. The car runs low 11's at over 116 with a 318 engine in Super Stock. The car is offered as a "roller". You would add your motor and transmission of choice to race the car. The car was built by Mike Pulstney Race Cars in Michigan a premier chassis shop. The car can be certified to run 9.90 seconds. It has Cal-Trac complete rear mono-leaf suspension with Calvert shocks front and rear. The car has a 8 and 3/4 rear with aftermarket axles and a 4.88 posi center section. Pensioner rescued from sinking car
Wed, 13 Aug 2014A PENSIONER had a lucky escape when he was rescued from his car just before it sank under water after he was stranded on a tidal causeway. The man, in his 80s, was trapped inside the vehicle with the sea rising around him after he got stuck on the causeway between Overton and Sunderland Point, Lancashire, the RNLI said. Emergency services were called just before 3.30pm yesterday and the Morecambe RNLI's inshore lifeboat crew found the man inside the car and unable to open the doors because of the pressure of water.
