1984 Chevy Caprice wagon, 305 4bbl automatic overdrive 2.93 rear end, shows 90,000 km but who knows how many times it's gone around. Runs great, always starts, aluminum rims, 2 new snow tires, good all season on front. Dented at bottom of RF door, and dented front bumper, I'll include a replacement bumper. No headliner. Runs great but smokes blue on startup, sometimes after, worse when it's hot out. Needs brake rotors, they're badly warped. No e-test needed in Ontario, no catalytic converter on it, air shocks. I've used it as my winter car the past  4 winters, but it and my van are being replaced by one newer vehicle.

Car is located in the Cornwall, Ontario area, minutes from the New York border near Massena. I'll accompany the winning bidder to the local US Customs so you don't have any red tape. You'll be given  a signed ownership, and receipt. the winning bidder sends a NON REFUNDABLE $100 deposit within 48 hours after the auction end. The balance is paid in CASH, US currency when the car is picked up. It`s presently stored outdoors, it can stay there until the end of November, should give you a lot of time to pick it up. Keep in mind this is an old car, it will have issues, no warranties. Ask questions! It's also advertised locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time and refuse any and all bids. Thanks!

From Cape Town to London -- in a Fiat Panda

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

If we wanted to break the speed record for the run from Cape Town, South Africa to London -- a quick 10,000-mile jaunt -- we'd start out by scouring the classifieds for something big and rugged. A Land Rover would be a classic choice, but a tricked-out Toyota or Jeep could do nicely as well. A team consisting of British rally drivers Philip Young and Paul Brace are taking a somewhat different approach.

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

Aston Martin may have already revealed the new Vanquish and the V12 Vanquish Roadster, but they’re still playing at the Nurburgring. For a small company with limited resources, Aston Martin is doing very well on the new model front. First we had the launch of a new car with an old name – the new Aston Martin Vanquish – followed earlier this month by the official reveal of the soft-top V12 Vantage – the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster.

'Defective tyre' prosecutions top 10,000

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

MORE THAN 170 motorists were convicted every week in 2012 for driving on defective or even dangerous tyres. The figures, obtained by tyre safety charity TyreSafe as part of its efforts to improve awareness during Tyre Safety Month, show that 10,228 drivers were taken to court over their tyres. As rain becomes a more regular fixture for most motorists up and down the country, following an unusually dry summer, tyre tread depth and pressure become even more important.
